Sandi (wife of the Kerdic founder, Jim Dickson) is primarily responsible for accounts payable. Sandi joined Kerdic during the earlier years of expansion, after a career in nursing. Sandi’s outside interests revolve around her family and her dogs.
Grant is a long serving member of Kerdic’s team, having been with the company since its inception in 1988. His construction knowledge and experience, his shared passion for excellence and his ability to effectively manage the teams of sub-contractors and service providers, have been fundamental to Kerdic’s success over the years.
One of the original Kerdic employees, Gail manages the finances for the group of companies. Gail has an Australian and International banking background and over Kerdic’s growth years has performed a variety of roles within the company.
Gail has a Diploma of Business Distinct (winning most outstanding student award), Post Graduate Certificate in Business and is currently undertaking a Master in Business Administration. Her outside interests include reading, camping and fishing.
Sandy (commonly known as Sand) is responsible for the administration and monitoring of Kerdic’s development and construction projects.
Originally from Thursday Island and prior to commencing at Kerdic in 2014, Sandy worked for the Australian Government, primarily in the field of veteran’s law. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland. Her outside interests include running, having completed the 2015 Paris Marathon & 2017 Rome Marathon, and baking cakes.
Another long serving member of the Team, Jim’s role includes drafting the plans for our homes and various development projects, from concept to final working drawings. Jim speaks fluent Cantonese, a skill that is used extensively in our communications with our Chinese partners.
Jim holds a QBCC Nominee Supervisors Licence (Building Design – Low Rise).
Ryan is responsible for managing the Kerdic business in Australia, bringing a fresh perspective while working hand in hand with Jim to continue the evolution and growth of the Kerdic brand.
Drawing on his extensive experience in both the property development and building sectors – having previously held senior roles with some of Australia’s largest builders and developers – Ryan, with the assistance of the highly capable Kerdic team, ensures every Kerdic project is acquired, managed and delivered successfully.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property Economics), a Diploma of Project Management, a Certificate IV in Building & Construction and is a Licensed Builder in Queensland. Ryan is also a current member of the UDIA’s QLD Housing Advisory Panel.
MANAGER, SALES & ADMINISTRATION
Ted joined Kerdic over 10 years ago, after a period in real estate managing an inner-city agency. Prior to that, Ted operated his own business in Fortitude Valley, essentially providing technology-based services to small-medium businesses. This followed a long career with both NSW and Queensland Governments, primarily in IT areas. He has personal experience in property development, having undertaken his projects including a boutique townhouse project.
Ted’s tertiary qualifications are in the Public Administration field. He also holds a Real Estate Licence and is a Commissioner for Declarations. His primary interest outside of Kerdic is Rotary, having been a Club President and more recently Assistant Governor.
CAROL (MEIJUN) LIN
Carol commenced at Kerdic recently after moving from Perth WA where she completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting major) and Post Grad Diploma in Commerce, at Curtin University.
Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as well as English, Carol will be a valuable asset to Kerdic in any dealings with our Chinese partners. Carol enjoys badminton and shopping.
